Paramount Pictures has unveiled the official trailer for "Gladiator 2," the highly anticipated reboot of the iconic "Gladiator" franchise. Set 25 years after the events of the original film, the sequel follows Lucius, the son of Maximus Decimus Meridius (Russell Crowe), as he seeks vengeance for his father's death.
The trailer showcases an impressive ensemble cast, including Paul Mescal as Lucius, Pedro Pascal as the tyrannical Emperor Lucius Commodus, Joseph Quinn as Lucius's mentor, and Fred Hechinger as Lucilla's son. It also features stunning visuals and heart-pounding action sequences that promise an epic and immersive cinematic experience.
"Gladiator 2" is directed by Ridley Scott and written by Peter Craig and David Scarpa. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 22, 2024.
